Q: Will I be penalized if I don’t sign up for Part B or Part D?
A: Yes, but only if you don’t have other creditable coverage. See our page on Avoiding Penalties for more information.
Q: What if I’m going to keep working? Do I have to take Part B?
A: No as long as your employer is willing to keep you on their coverage and that coverage is deemed creditable, you can delay taking your Medicare Part B. Many people realize that they can get better coverage for less money by taking their Medicare Part B even if they continue to work. There are many factors that go into this decision, so reach out to us so we can do a cost-benefit analysis for you.
Q: Does Medicare cover any dental, vision, or hearing?
A: Unfortunately, Medicare covers practically no dental or hearing coverage and just a few vision conditions. Most of our clients on Medicare Supplement plans will add a Dental,Vision, Hearing plan as well, to fill those gaps in Medicare’s coverage.
